On December 1, 2008, Panasonic showcased a 400GB capacity disc using 16 layers each capable of storing 25GB. Touted its backward compatibility, there is already plan on read-only disc by 2010. Could Panasonic make it available by end of 2009? There should be formal announcement of availability before December 31, 2009 for favorable judgment.
